Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cardiovascular Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, where you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier cardiovascular and critical care services. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions through medication administration.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across specialties to develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Strong background in cardiovascular medicine: STEMI, heart failure, transplants, central line placement, etc.
- Excellent client communication skills with experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, therapists, and case managers.
Requirements
- Active Georgia license
- Board certification
- ACLS required
- Prior experience working in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers is highly preferred
- 650 Bed Hospital; 10-15 patients per day
Skills: Central Line Placements, Intubations, ECMO (#4 in country), LVAD (#1 in country)
