Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Cardiovascular Surgery NP or PA to provide Cardiovascular Surgery Locum Tenens coverage. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes, ensuring timely interventions and compassionate support for individuals experiencing complex cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients for surgical readiness, review medical history, and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
- Monitor patients during surgery, assist in procedures, and manage critical care needs in the operating room.
- Utilize electronic health record for accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records management, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Active Georgia license
- Board certification
- ACLS & CALS required
- Minimum experience: 5-10 years
- Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and surgical management.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical care skills.
- Schedule: 10 hour day shifts, 4 days per week
- Daily volume: 7-10 cases per day
- EMR: Epic
Procedures Required: Endoscopic vein harvesting
Paid Travel, hotel, rental car
Dates of Service: 10/15/26-3/31/27
