We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to establish accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.
- Manage a diverse caseload that may include acute pain management, chronic disease management, geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and infectious disease care.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, spinal taps, dermal fillers, and laser treatments for esthetic purposes.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to document medical records accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Provide patient education on health coaching topics including nutrition, medication administration, infection control, and disease prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current certification from the appropriate certifying body.
- Experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU or trauma centers is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with Athenahealth or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques including sonography and laboratory specimen processing.
- Demonstrated ability to perform clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, sterile technique for suturing or injections administration.
- Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure preferred; experience in telehealth is advantageous.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess complex cases involving geriatrics, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), hospice & palliative medicine or behavioral health needs.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding systems for accurate documentation and billing; understanding of Workers’ Compensation law is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team in fast-paced settings such as urgent care or outpatient clinics.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
