Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
OSI Beverly Hills is an orthopedic, spine, and pain management practice in San Leandro seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our clinical team. Our patients include people with work-related injuries, motor vehicle and personal-injury cases, and general orthopedic and spine conditions. The Physician Assistant evaluates and manages patients across the full course of care and works directly with our fellowship-trained spine surgeons and interventional pain physicians, both in the clinic and, as scheduling requires, in the operating room. We place high value on two things: thorough, defensible clinical documentation for workers’ compensation and personal-injury cases, and attentive, patient-centered care for a diverse community. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

- Perform focused histories and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic imaging, and develop and document clear treatment plans
- Manage conservative care, including medication management, activity guidance, referrals to physical therapy, and coordination of injections and pre-operative and post-operative visits
- Perform joint and soft-tissue injections (training provided as needed)
- First-assist in the operating room for our surgeons’ cases as scheduling requires
- Complete timely, compliant workers’ compensation and personal-injury documentation, including PR-2 reports consistent with MTUS and ACOEM guidelines
- Collaborate with supervising physicians, surgical staff, and the front office on scheduling, authorizations, and patient flow
REQUIREMENTS
- Active California Physician Assistant license
- Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain
- Able to practice under a practice agreement with our supervising physicians (we will establish this)
