Bilingual Korean Physician Assistant (PA)

FMR Interventional is a growing multidisciplinary medical practice specializing in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Orthopedics, and Interventional Pain Management. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and bilingual Korean-speaking Physician Assistant to join our team in our Koreatown office. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional patient care and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Summary
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries resulting from motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and other personal injury cases. Experience in pain management, orthopedics, sports medicine, or personal injury is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Similar roles commonly emphasize musculoskeletal evaluation, documentation, and collaborative pain management care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations.
- Evaluate patients with neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, ankle, and foot injuries.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, EMG/NCV studies, and laboratory tests.
- Document detailed medical reports using EMR.
- Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice (training provided if needed), including:
- Joint injections
- Trigger point injections
- Ultrasound-guided procedures
- PRP injections
- Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and recovery expectations.
- Coordinate care with physical therapists, chiropractors, imaging centers, and surgical specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation for personal injury and lien-based cases.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions.
Qualifications
- Current California Physician Assistant License.
- NCCPA Certification.
- DEA Registration (or eligible).
- Current BLS Certification.
- Fluent in Korean and English (required).
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation abilities.
- Experience in Personal Injury, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Pain Management, or Urgent Care preferred.
- New graduates with strong orthopedic interests are encouraged to apply.
