Join a Respected Outpatient Radiology Team
St. Joseph’s Imaging is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient Radiology team. This role is ideal for a provider looking to continue using their clinical knowledge and patient care experience in a collaborative, lower-stress outpatient environment.
We are looking for someone who values patient interaction, enjoys working closely with radiologists and technologists, and appreciates being part of a supportive and professional team. Position Summary
The Radiology PA/NP will provide both direct and indirect patient care support related to outpatient imaging services. Responsibilities focus on patient safety, communication, follow-up coordination, and supporting radiologists with ultrasound review and report preparation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with review of ultrasound images and preparation of preliminary reports under radiologist supervision
- Monitoring patients during contrast administration and responding appropriately to adverse reactions if necessary
- Reviewing patient medical histories, allergies, and medications prior to imaging procedures
- Coordinating and facilitating recommended follow-up imaging studies
- Communicating effectively with radiologists, technologists, patients, and referring providers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance

Requirements
Physician Assistant
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification required
Nurse Practitioner
- Current New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- APRN certification required
- Current ACLS certification
