Are you a skilled Gastroenterology APP ready to lead innovative, patient-centered procedural care in a dynamic outpatient setting? Wellness Homes of Chicago (WHoC) is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our rapidly growing practice.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead outpatient GI procedures such as rubber band ligation independently in an efficient, patientfocused manner while providing exceptional patient care.
- Oversee wireless capsule endoscopy as an alternative to traditional endoscopy.
- Perform and interpret highresolution esophageal manometry for motility and pelvic floor disorders.
- Conduct FibroScan/transient elastography as a noninvasive liver fibrosis assessment tool.
- Administer inoffice breath testing for H. pylori, SIBO, and lactose intolerance.
- Perform colonoscopies and flexible sigmoidoscopies where credentialing and state regulations allow.
- Provide comprehensive GI E&M care.
- Manage chronic GI conditions including IBD, GERD, IBS, and liver disease.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Active, unencumbered NP or PA license in Illinois.
- Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience in Gastroenterology.
- Strong procedural skills and comfort working autonomously.
- Solid understanding of GIspecific billing, CPT coding, and RVUbased outpatient models.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility; BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with capsule endoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, or GI manometry.
- FibroScan training or certification.
- Endoscopy (colonoscopy/sigmoidoscopy) training or credentialing.
