Are you a skilled Dermatology APP looking to elevate your practice in a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare environment? Wellness Homes of Chicago (WHoC) invites experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join our expanding practice.
At WHoC, you’ll work with a supportive team dedicated to serving Chicago’s diverse communities with compassion and clinical excellence. This is a unique opportunity to anchor a dermatology program, perform a wide range of high-impact procedures, and build meaningful, lasting relationships with patients across four Chicago locations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform highvolume dermatologic procedures including cryotherapy, diagnostic biopsies, electrodessication & curettage (ED&C), and surgical excisions.
- Manage complex chronic skin conditions including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and hidradenitis suppurativa with biologic therapies.
- Conduct and interpret patch testing for allergic contact dermatitis.
- Oversee photodynamic therapy (PDT) and other lightbased treatments.
- Administer intralesional injections for cystic acne, keloids, and alopecia.
- Deliver comprehensive E&M visits in a highthroughput, patientcentered clinic environment.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teams to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Active, unencumbered NP or PA license in Illinois.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in Dermatology. Procedural experience is essential!
- Confident, independent proficiency in biopsies, cryotherapy, ED&C, and standard excisions.
- Familiarity with outpatient dermatology billing, CPT coding, and RVUbased models.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility; BLS/ACLS certification.
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience with biologic therapy management.
- Background in photodynamic therapy or patch testing.
- Comfort in multisite, highvolume outpatient settings.
