The facility operates 7 days a week. Shifts are scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.

What we’re seeking
We are seeking a dedicated and clinicaly proficient Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a fast-paced Urgent Care setting. In this role, you will be the primary provider for patients seeking immediate medical attention for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the Connecticut community.
Duties
You will manage a diverse patient population, performing diagnostic evaluations and implementing treatment plans for acute conditions. This includes minor procedures, interpreting diagnostics, and coordinating follow-up care as needed.
- Conduct physical exams and patient assessments in an urgent care setting.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
- Perform minor procedures including suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage.
- Order and interpret lab tests and X-rays.
- Maintain thorough and accurate electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut State License as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
- Active Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration (CDS).
- Valid DEA registration.
- Proven experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with EMR systems.
Pay: $70.00 – $90.00 per hour
