Full Job Description

Woodbridge Medical Associates, PA is a privately owned primary care practice that has been serving the Woodbridge community since 1954. We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team of physicians. To be qualified for this position, you are required to have a master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program, a valid New Jersey license, and prior Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience. In this role you will be part of a healthcare team that strives to deliver compassionate care to patients with a wide range of conditions and needs. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday with some evening and rotating weekend on-call phone coverage. Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough patient exams and take detailed medical histories

· Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and customize individual treatment plans

· Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work, imaging, and EKGs

· Prescribe medication and therapy as needed

· Refer patients to other healthcare providers as appropriate

· Counsel patients and family members on health promotion, disease prevention, and medication management

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Qualifications:

· Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program required

· Valid New Jersey license required

· Prior Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience required

· Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, family members and other team members

· Ability to work independently and within a team of physicians and other medical staff

· Foster an empathetic environment by supporting the practice’s goal of providing compassionate care

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Benefits:

· Salary range: $125,000 – $140,000 based on experience
