Excellent Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Opportunity – Norwalk Hospital

Nuvance Health Medical Practice is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant as we continue to grow our program. The ideal candidate should have experience in Advanced Outpatient Wound Care and Hyperbaric Therapy, but an interest and/or a desire to learn the specialties will be considered and training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for a clinician to work in a multidisciplinary setting. This position follows a Monday through Friday office schedule, no weekends no calls.

The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with previous experience in wound care and/or hyperbaric services. Specific Requirements: NY State RN and APRN license or PA license, NY Controlled Substance Registration, Federal DEA.

Required: Experience documenting in a patient medical record; experience with MS Office suite software. Must obtain either CHRN (Certified Hyperbaric RN), or WOCN (Wound Ostomy Certified Nurse) certification within two years from date of hire.
Minimum Experience: three years
Desired: Prior wound care or hyperbaric experience.
