Full Job Description
An established urology practice in Danbury, CT is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent role with a focus on men and women’s urology. Providers will work alongside a team of Physicians and APPs in clinic. Monday-Friday schedule, four day work week (32 hours). NO call or weekends. Local new graduates with an interest in urology will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient care
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations
- Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, including medication management, patient education, and coordination of follow-up care
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families regarding conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care coordination and workflow efficienc
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Connecticut
- New graduates with an interest in urology
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation
- Commitment to maintaining professional competence through ongoing education and participation in professional organizations
