Mobile Hyperbaric Centers (MHC) is at the forefront of patient care, specializing in innovative multiplace hyperbaric oxygen treatment to significantly improve healing for those with chronic and non-healing wounds. Our mission is clear: Safely Heal Patients and Have Fun Doing It.

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a full-time position at our outpatient hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) centers. This role is ideal for a medical professional looking to make a meaningful impact in patient care while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Report To: Chief Medical Officer

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm

Coverage rotates between centers depending on the week’s needs:

  • Some weeks: 2 days in Medina, 1 day in Middleburg Heights, and 1 day in Euclid
  • Other weeks: 2 days in Medina and 2 days in Middleburg Heights

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient evaluations, including physical exams, histories, and weekly follow-ups.
  • Oversee and manage HBOT treatments for referred patients.
  • Collaborate with referring providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Supervise and support HBOT technicians and staff as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Educate patients and staff on HBOT practices and benefits.
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Unrestricted medical license as an NP or PA in Ohio.
  • ACLS certification.
  • DEA or NCCPA license.
  • Must complete all HBOT training per MHC’s policies and procedures.
  • Must be credentialed per MHC’s policies and procedures and privileges at the hospital.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to function in a hyperbaric chamber environment.
  • Must be able to exert, lift, and/or move a minimum of 50 lbs. occasionally and up to 20 lbs. frequently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient advocacy.
  • Must be willing to travel within OH.
