Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – MS/Telemetry

Schedule
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3×12-hour shifts)
- Block Scheduling: Not available
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical and Telemetry care to work in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, possess strong telemetry and leadership skills, and be capable of managing a diverse patient population across all age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans with interdisciplinary teams
- Function as a Charge Nurse when required
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive patient care environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum experience in MS/Telemetry nursing
- Charge Nurse experience required
- Ability to independently manage a 1:6 patient ratio
- Experience caring for patients across all age groups (pediatric to geriatric preferred)
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
