We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive patient care services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and staff.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and lab work
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and practice protocols
- Develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in EMR (Eclinicalworks)
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
- Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists as needed
Qualifications
- Active Arizona license
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant
- DEA license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of EMR systems and medical documentation
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
