Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation
- Assist customers with product selection, demonstrating features and benefits to enhance their shopping experience
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and credit card processing
- Maintain knowledge of retail products, financial software, and basic math to ensure precise calculations and data entry
- Handle cash register operations efficiently, including 10 key typing and retail math calculations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and financial calculations
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse customers confidently
- Ability to operate financial software
- Demonstrated ability to manage cash transactions with precision and integrity
- Knowledge of cashiering procedures, cash handling best practices, and cash management techniques
