HCIC Medical Staffing Solutions is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a well-established and rapidly growing outpatient healthcare organization in Parkland, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for physicians interested in value-based care, strong clinical outcomes, and a patient-centered environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a physician with experience or strong interest in value-based care, particularly within Medicare Advantage populations.
This role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, and quality metrics (HEDIS/STAR), allowing physicians to play a key role in improving patient outcomes while building long-term relationships.
The clinical setting is highly collaborative, with integrated care teams supporting physicians to deliver efficient, coordinated, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and senior patients
- Perform annual wellness visits, preventive care, and chronic disease management
- Develop and implement individualized, value-based care plans
- Manage patients with a focus on quality outcomes and reduced hospitalizations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
- Monitor and address HEDIS and STAR quality metrics
- Accurately document encounters in EMR (eCW preferred)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams (NPs, MAs, case managers, specialists)
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention and lifestyle management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
- Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License
- DEA license in good standing
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- 2–3+ years of experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage patients (preferred)
- Experience or familiarity with value-based care models
- Knowledge of HEDIS, STAR ratings, and risk adjustment (preferred)
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
