Primary Care Physician (PCP) | Full-Time | Parkland, FLCompetitive Base Salary + Bonus | Monday–Friday Schedule 8 hour shift | on-site |Value-Based Care Model

HCIC Medical Staffing Solutions is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join a well-established and rapidly growing outpatient healthcare organization in Parkland, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity ideal for physicians interested in value-based care, strong clinical outcomes, and a patient-centered environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a physician with experience or strong interest in value-based care, particularly within Medicare Advantage populations.

This role emphasizes preventive care, chronic disease management, and quality metrics (HEDIS/STAR), allowing physicians to play a key role in improving patient outcomes while building long-term relationships.

The clinical setting is highly collaborative, with integrated care teams supporting physicians to deliver efficient, coordinated, and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to adult and senior patients
  • Perform annual wellness visits, preventive care, and chronic disease management
  • Develop and implement individualized, value-based care plans
  • Manage patients with a focus on quality outcomes and reduced hospitalizations
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Monitor and address HEDIS and STAR quality metrics
  • Accurately document encounters in EMR (eCW preferred)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams (NPs, MAs, case managers, specialists)
  • Educate patients and families on disease prevention and lifestyle management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Florida Medical License
  • DEA license in good standing
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • 2–3+ years of experience with Medicare or Medicare Advantage patients (preferred)
  • Experience or familiarity with value-based care models
  • Knowledge of HEDIS, STAR ratings, and risk adjustment (preferred)
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
