This role may serve patients across the Houston area. Ideal candidates will reside in or near Houston or be able to reliably commute to their assigned facilities.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Certified Physician Assistant
- Minimum 1 year of post-acute experience preferred
- Licensed in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
Candidate Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical assessment and appropriately manage patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as appropriate
- Perform procedures as trained and appropriately credentialed
- Complete accurate and timely progress notes and admission/transfer orders
- Educate patient on disease and treatment plans
