Milagros Medical is a unique primary care and urgent care practice – one in which providers make a significant difference serving an underserved population in a welcoming medical environment. Milagros Medical offers the unique opportunity to truly make a difference in a patient’s health, especially since most of them lack a primary care provider.

Milagros Medical is looking for medical professionals who are excited to deliver medical care in a caring and professional manner.

Job duties include:

*Performing patient history and physical examinations, diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic health problems.
* Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient’s clinical problems, and health care needs.
* Prescribes medications or other forms of treatment as needed.
* Makes referrals to physician and other healthcare providers as necessary.
* Documents assessment, management and education clearly, concisely, and legibly within Electronic Health Records.
* Demonstrates strong communication skills with patient and significant others to provide feedback regarding finding and treatment plan.
* Provides education to patients and families.

The environment is different from a typical high stress clinic or hospital position. We see a lower volume of patients and have longer appointment times with patients.

We do not dispense/prescribe for Scheduled II, sleeping medications, benzodiazepines, etc.

We are a fee for service clinic and to not take insurance.

Successful Candidates should have:

– A minimum of 2 years experience in primary care and or urgent care
– Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
– 32 to 40 hour per week .
– Excellent clinical and communication skills
– Family-practice training or experience preferred
– Graduate of accredited FNP, ANP or PA program with national certification required
– Current FNP or PA license and DEA

– Current BLS, preferably ACLS
