Position: Allergy Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Location: White Plains, Westchester

Led by board-certified allergists, Latitude has provided evidence-based solutions like OIT to more than 8,000 patients with single and multiple food allergies, including those with the most severe food allergies.
Latitude currently has eleven clinics, four in the San Francisco Bay Area, three in the New York City area, and four in Southern California, and is expanding across the country.
We are expanding our team with mission-driven individuals motivated to grow a patient-centric, hospitality-minded model of care to change the lives of food allergy families.
Role
The NP or PA will work alongside our allergist to deliver world-class food allergy treatment and care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive pediatric experience but will be working with all ages. This ideal candidate will have experience in, or the ability to quickly gain the skills to, manage food allergies in all age groups, and will also demonstrate a patient-centered approach that is delivered with the highest level of compassion. Responsibilities will include interpreting allergy blood tests and skin tests, performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests, performing oral food challenges, performing oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment, and managing conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, environmental and food allergy.
This is an outpatient position that is open to part-time or full-time clinicians. We provide competitive compensation and equity in our growing company. Benefits include health and dental benefits, 401(k), CME allowance, and malpractice insurance.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Work closely with the allergist to support a patient through their diagnostic and treatment journey:
- Interpret allergy blood tests and skin tests
- Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests
- Perform allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots)
- Perform oral food challenges
- Perform oral immunotherapy (OIT) treatment
- Other responsibilities may include placing allergy skin tests, administering injections, preparing oral immunotherapy doses, ordering labs, scheduling, ordering medications
- Proactive patient care including patient education, monitoring and responding to patient calls, messages, daily home treatment logs, and EMR messages
- Support and assist in referral marketing activities
- If necessary, manage other allergic conditions such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, etc.
- On-call responsibilities (distributed proportionally among providers and nurses)
Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a valid license in the state of NY (may be required to gain NJ, CT, or CA license in addition to NY)
- The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing the lives of families through excellent healthcare
- 2-3 years of clinical experience
- Experience managing conditions such as asthma, allergy shots, allergic rhinitis, environmental and food allergy
- Personable and professional, especially with pediatric patients and their parents
- Strong communication skills
