Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Vascular Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing vein and vascular practice. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing and treating peripheral arterial disease (PAD), venous insufficiency, spider veins, and varicose veins, and performing minimally invasive vein procedures such as sclerotherapy and endovenous laser ablation (EVLA/EVLT).
Please note: Applicants without prior vascular or vein procedure experience will not be considered.
This role is ideal for a PA with experience in vascular surgery, interventional radiology, or vein clinic settings who is comfortable managing vascular patients and performing in-office procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and treat patients with PAD, chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and spider veins
- Perform in-office procedures including sclerotherapy and endovenous laser ablation (EVLA/EVLT)
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret vascular diagnostic studies including Doppler and vascular ultrasound
- Assist physicians with vascular or interventional procedures as needed
- Educate patients on vascular health, treatment options, and preventative care
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Active PA license in New York State
- NCCPA certification required
- Prior vascular or vein clinic experience required, including experience with sclerotherapy and/or endovenous laser ablation procedures
- Must be flexible to travel between multiple office locations within Nassau County, NY
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient care skills

Pay: $67.00 – $75.00 per hour
