Working experience is defined as independently and confidently assessing and diagnosing, and treating patients. This DOES NOT include clinical rotations or working as a dermatology medical assistant before becoming a Physician Assistant./NP

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and vital signs documentation.
- Perform comprehensive skin evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical dermatologic conditions
- Create and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform minor in-office dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, excisions)
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR)
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Physician Assistant in dermatology.
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR systems such as EMA for documentation and data management.
- Hands-on experience with Botox (Botulinum toxin treatment), dermal fillers, laser therapy, and other esthetic procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding practices for dermatology-related procedures and diagnoses.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of handling 30 – 40 patients per day
