Position Title: Physician Assistant – Family MedicineLocation: East Los Angeles, CA 90033


Position Summary

The Family Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) provides primary and preventive healthcare services, including patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and health education for diverse patient populations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform medical histories and physical exams for adults and children
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
  • Order and interpret lab tests and imaging; coordinate follow-up care
  • Prescribe medications in accordance with supervising physician guidelines
  • Provide preventive care, including screenings, Pap smears, and contraceptive counseling
  • Educate patients and document care accurately
  • Assist with triage, patient calls, and care coordination when needed
  • Participate in staff training, meetings, and quality assurance activities


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in Family Medicine, Primary Care, Community Health or related specialty
  • Current National Certification as a Physician Assistant
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bilingual Spanish/English highly preferred


Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Salary Range

$145,000.00 – $168,000.00 annually – negotiable based on experience
