Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Physician Assistant – Certified to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver expert patient care, support clinical procedures, and contribute to advancing urological health through evidence-based practices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, strong technical skills, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and vital signs, to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Assist in performing diagnostic evaluations, including imaging interpretation and laboratory data analysis, utilizing EMR systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks.
- Administer injections, perform suturing, and manage procedures like catheterizations, cystoscopies, and minor surgical interventions within aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on health coaching topics including medication administration, nutrition, family planning, addiction counseling, and post-discharge discharge planning.
Skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Hands-on experience with procedures
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; ability to educate patients on complex health topics confidently.
Pay: $58,154.28 – $75,000.00 per year
