Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our Cosmetic Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across our outpatient, and plastic cosmetic surgery center. This role involves performing physical examinations, assisting in surgical procedures, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. The Physician Assistant will utilize advanced EMR system, Remedly, to ensure accurate documentation and data management. Experience in private office and hospital environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical histories
  • Help develop a cosmetic surgery plan in collaboration with the patient and supervising physician
  • Photograph patients before and after results
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, injections, phlebotomy, and basic airway management
  • Assist in surgical procedures including catheterization.
  • Manage acute pain conditions and participate in pain management protocols
  • Administer medications and injections following aseptic techniques while ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Document patient encounters accurately using EMR system, Remedly.
  • Coordinate discharge planning, post-acute care, and follow-up appointments
  • Support infection control practices and adhere to outpatient Quad A standards for patient safety

Requirements

  • Proficient in both English and Spanish.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current certification/licensure to practice
  • Prior hospital experience or private office settings.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation including medical terminology
  • Skills in performing physical examinations and medication administration
  • Ability to handle complex patient cases involving acute care and post-operative recovery.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and remote patient monitoring is advantageous
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques necessary for safe practice
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to maintaining HIPAA standards and safeguarding patient confidentiality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
