Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner to work full time at our clinic Dec 20 2025-Jan 9 2026. Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New years eve and day are all off.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care at our specialty clinic. This role involves performing physical examinations, diagnosing illnesses, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
The Physician Assistant will utilize advanced clinical skills and medical knowledge to deliver high-quality care, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA and NCQA. Experience with EMR systems is essential. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values professional growth and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including intake, vital signs, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Manage acute and conditions related to pain.
- Utilize EMR systems like Athena for documentation of medical records.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, diagnostic evaluation methods.
- Skilled in patient assessment techniques such as vital signs monitoring and physical examinations across diverse populations.
- Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective health coaching and patient education.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
