Emergency Department- Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Piedmont Atlanta

APP Emergency Department: Observation Unit PRN Piedmont is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Piedmont Atlanta Emergency department. The position is primarily located in the Observation unit, and will work 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will have availability to work 3-4 shifts per month and will be able to cover day and night shifts. In this role you will: Work in a fast-paced environment under the supervision of emergency department physicians. Provide patient care as needed to groups and individuals. Communicate with patient, family and other health care team members. Utilize EMR system entering and maintaining appropriate documentation and dictation Stay up to date on patient care diagnosis and treatment, current methodologies and techniques of practice. Minimum Requirements ATLS is required for the position, but can be obtained during credentialing. Masters, Bachelors Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification -or- Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification Preferred Qualifications Two years working as a PA/NP within emergency medicine, urgent care setting or inpatient internal medicine. New graduates will be considered as well.

Qualifications:
