Job Summary
Thrive Ortho & Spine, a rapidly growing medical practice with multiple locations across the Atlanta area, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to see patients in our clinics in College Park, Smyrna, Sandy Springs, and Decatur. This position will require regular travel between these locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Thrive is proud to promote appropriate medical management with limited use of Narcotics in the practice. Thrive serves both insurance and personal injury patients and experience with both patient types is preferred.

Responsibilities:
· Performing initial and existing patient exams and screening evaluations.
· Assesses patient health by obtaining and reviewing medical histories, performing physical examinations and evaluations.
· Determines appropriate diagnostic tests, as well as prescribing and interpreting such tests
· Document patient care services by dictating notes and charting diagnoses and fees in patient records
· Possibly performing therapeutic procedures by administering trigger point injections and prescribing necessary medications
· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Consult and coordinate with the practice physicians to deliver timely, efficient, and professional care to the patients
· Utilize our EMR system (eClinicalWorks) to input patient data to ensure accuracy of patient information, records, and billing
· Communicate with other stakeholders such as other medical providers and attorneys to share patient information and provide periodic updates
Qualification, Experience, and Skills
· Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
· A Georgia PA or NP license is required
· Must have no exceptions to PA or NP license, and be able to administer pharmaceuticals, perform medication reconciliation, and any nursing procedures or special treatments needed within the scope of nursing practice for state.
· Preference will be given to candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience
· Fully fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral) is preferred
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Patience and compassion towards patients and other stakeholders with a pleasant personality
· Comfort working with or learning our electronic medical reports software (EClinicalWorks)
· Must have no restrictions to work in the state of Georgia
· Must be willing to travel in the greater Atlanta area and hold a valid driver’s license
