Full Job Description
I am a physician practicing concierge medicine in Miami Beach for over 25 years. I am seeking a Physician Assistant interesting in working in a high-quality low-volume private practice.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient only
- Diagnose and manage chronic and acute conditions in collaboration with doctor
- Rooming patients, taking vitals and EKG
- Prescription refills and prior authorizations
- Continuity of care – followup on appointments, diagnostic tests, and referrals
- Coverage of doctor when out of town
- Occasional phlebotomy
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Understanding of evidence-based medicine
- Prior experience in primary care is preferred, but not required
- Must be fluent in English with excellent communication skills
