Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic urology team. The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in urology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a Physician Assistant in Urology, you will work closely with our urologists to provide comprehensive medical care to patients with a wide range of urological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient assessments, including rounding, inpatient consults, history-taking, physical exams and diagnostic evaluations.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions, such as kidney stones, urinary tract infections, prostate disorders, and incontinence.
- Perform and assist with urological procedures, including catheter placements, cystoscopies, and vasectomies.
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to urology patients, including wound management and patient education.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, urodynamic studies, and lab results.
- Educate patients on urological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with urologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Active Physician Assistant license in Oklahoma.
- Prior experience in urology or interest in urology is preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage urological patients independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the healthcare team.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient issues with empathy and professionalism.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
