Job Title: Nephrology Physician’s AssistantLocation: Omaha, NE & Council Bluffs, IAPosition Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate physician’s assistant to join our dynamic nephrology team. This role involves a mix of hospital rounding, outpatient clinic visits, and dialysis unit rounding. You will work closely with our physicians to provide comprehensive care to patients with chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and end-stage renal disease.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct hospital rounds and help nephrologists manage inpatient nephrology consults
  • Evaluate and manage patients in our outpatient nephrology clinic
  • Provide ongoing care and monitoring in dialysis centers
  • Collaborate with nephrologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Educate patients and families about kidney disease management, treatment options, and lifestyle changes

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in Nebraska & Iowa
  • Graduation from an accredited PA program with NCCPA certification

· Prior nephrology experience is a plus, but not required

· Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
