Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree and have experience or a keen interest in patient triage, diagnosis, and evidence-based care. As a healthcare provider, you will play an integral role in patient care, addressing barriers such as financial/economic issues, language/cultural differences, and transportation challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient triage, diagnosis, and evidence-based care.
- Address barriers to diagnosis and treatment, including financial, language, and transportation issues.
- Supervise and delegate tasks within the healthcare team.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing procedures and methods.
- Problem-solve and find solutions to improve patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and the public, both verbally and in writing.
- Participate in speaking engagements to raise awareness of diseases and treatment options.
- Prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s Degree (BSN, MSN, ANP, or PA licensed in the state of Texas).
- Licenses/Certifications:
- BSN, MSN, ANP, or PA licensed in Texas.
- BLS certification required.
- ARRT certification required.
- Experience: 1+ to 2 years of healthcare experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical practices, terminology, and reimbursement policies.
- Skill in planning, organizing, and supervising.
- Problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures effectively.
- Ability to interact well with patients, staff, and the public.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: $50,000 to $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience).
- Benefits: Full benefits package provided.
- Relocation Assistance: Available.
- Overtime: Not eligible.
- Interview Travel: Not reimbursed.
- Commission: Not eligible.
- Bonus: Not eligible.
Ideal Candidate:
- Willing to travel as required.
