Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting in surgeries, conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and educating patients on preventive healthcare measures. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Collect and analyze patient medical histories- Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care- Diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries- Prescribe medications and monitor patient response- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures- Perform procedures such as dermabrasion, catheterization, gastric lavage, and administration of injections- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records- Stay informed about advancements in medical technology and treatments- Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines
Requirements:- Valid Physician Assistant license in <LOCATION>- Proven experience as a Physician Assistant or similar role- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, treatments, and terminology- Excellent clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and treat various conditions- Proficient in data collection and analysis- Familiarity with coding systems for medical billing purposes- Ability to work well in a team environment- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
