Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Are you a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant looking to join a supportive and dynamic team? We are seeking a dedicated provider to deliver exceptional care to our patients in Elkton, Maryland.

Location: Elkton or Middle River

Job Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Schedule: Monday – Friday, no holidays, no weekends. Must be able to see a minimum of 15 to 20 patients per day. Calls to be evenly distributed between the group.

Flexible Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 per year or Percentage of RevenueCompetitive rate based on experience; percentage increases with tenure, no cap on earning potential.

Additional Earnings:

  • Clearly defined performance targets with bonus opportunities
  • Telehealth call duties shared among the group (extra compensation)

Ideal Candidate:

Licensure & Background

Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Maryland (unrestricted)Preferably 2+ years of experience in Hospital Medicine or Emergency Medicine (preferred but not required).Strong Clinical & Communication Skills

Strong problem-solving capabilities and clinical judgmentExcellent interpersonal communication for patient interaction and team collaboration

Team-Oriented & Flexible

Willingness to learn and adapt to varying clinical demandsComfortable traveling to multiple practice sites within Maryland and/or Elkton.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical examinations, and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and best practices, in collaboration with supervising physician(s) as required by state regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, specialists, and support staff.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in shared phone call coverage with other providers.
  • Travel between facilities.

Call Schedule:

  • Remote call coverage on a rotation basis
  • Holiday call split evenly
  • No weekend work except for scheduled call which is remote.

Qualifications:

  • Fully qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant available to work immediately.
  • Experience in hospital medicine or emergency medicine preferred.
  • New graduates will be considered.
  • Excellent clinical skills and judgment.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Enjoys collaborating with a supportive team under adequate supervision
  • Willingness to travel within Elkton as needed (potentially two sites)
