We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating skin conditions by performing physical examinations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatology care and possess excellent clinical skills.
Duties:
– Conduct physical examinations and obtain patient medical histories
– Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic skin conditions
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies
– Develop treatment plans and prescribe medications
– Perform minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies, cryosurgery, intralesional injections, and laser surgery
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using ICD-10 coding system
Qualifications:
– Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
– Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant
– Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
– Strong knowledge of dermatology care principles and practices
– Experience in dermatology and or pediatrics preferred
– Proficiency in medical office procedures and EMA (EHR) software
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a diverse patient population
