South Florida Multi-specialty Medical Group is a large, Multi-Specialty clinic with board certified physicians and surgeons in the areas of:
Primary care/Internal Medicine
Rheumatology
Vascular surgery
Podiatry and Foot and ankle surgery.
We are in search of a qualified physician assistant who will work side by side with our internal medicine specialist and our Vascular Surgeon. The PA must be certified and have some experience in primary care medicine. Cardiology experience of background is preferred. Physician assistance must also be knowledgeable or willing to undergo training in the field of weight-loss medicine, anti-aging and testosterone replacement therapy. Experience in aesthetics and botox/fillers will make you competitive. Practitioner must have a warm bedside manner, and work well with the team. The Provider’s role will primarily involve outpatient Home visits and transitional care management in the post acute setting in ALF, Rehab, and at home.

-Professional references are required.
-Must be willing to travel between both office locations (Homestead, and Downtown Dadeland). Company Car will be provided.

Our medical facility is seeking a physician assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a background in internal medicine and will be looking for a role where they can make a difference in patients’ lives. Responsibilities:
- Provide treatment, counseling to patients and their families.
- Assess patient’s clinical and psychosocial history.
- Appraise, research, diagnose and treat patients.
- Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and treatments.
- Manage all aspects of internal medicine, primary care, Weight loss, testosterone replacement therapy, and IV infusion therapy.
Duties- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examination, and review of symptoms- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as medical imaging and laboratory tests- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician- Perform procedures such as airway management, tube feeding, and acute pain management- Administer medications and monitor patient response- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Cerner or Epic
“`Qualifications“`- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)- Experience in an ICU or critical care setting is preferred- Proficiency in medical procedures such as airway management, tube feeding, and acute pain management- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
