Full Job Description

Provide the full scope of integrated primary care services, which fall under his/her field of training, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care and health maintenance to patients. As a member of the Christ Community Health (CCH) team, providers are expected to be familiar with the mission, vision and philosophy of ministry of CCH and work collaboratively within their scope.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with Behavioral Health Consultants (BHCs), and other care team members to provide holistic (medical, behavioral & spiritual) integrated care to CCH patients;
  • Collecting, recording, and maintaining patients’ information and histories;
  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries;
  • Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests;
  • Prescribing and administering treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care;
  • Training patients and their families to manage and prevent illness and injury.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Eager and able to embody the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of CCH;
  • Able and willing to demonstrate love, compassion, and genuine care when interacting with others;
  • Strong decision-making, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to work well with the variety of ages, cultures, & temperaments represented among CCH staff and patients, treating others with compassion and professionalism;
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of e-mail systems, electronic medical records, and web-based programs, and point-of-interview technology;
  • Knowledge of disease prevention;
  • A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.

Education and Experience:

  • Current active DEA Certificate
  • Current active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Current Georgia Medical Professional License
  • Board Certified in his/her respective field
