Full Job Description

An orthopedic practice near Baltimore, MD is looking to add a full time Certified Physician Assistant. The PA will work 1:1 with an upper extremity specialist to treat patients in the OR and clinic. Monday-Friday schedule, no call or weekend requirements. Licensed new graduates are encouraged to apply, previous experience in ortho preferred.

Responsibilities:

– Provide comprehensive medical care to patients under the supervision of a physician- Conduct physical examinations and obtain medical histories- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients

– Prescribe medications and therapies- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and disease prevention

Qualifications:

– Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)- State licensure as a Physician Assistant- Familiarity with standards of care in various healthcare settings- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $110,000.00 – $165,000.00 per year
