Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or physician assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions. As an FNP/PA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services while collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical histories and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to medication administration protocols.
• Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including venipuncture and sonography, as necessary.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
• Manage acute and chronic illnesses across the lifespan with a focus on pediatrics and behavioral health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients in critical care settings.
• Maintain aseptic technique during procedures to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program or accreddidated PA program
• Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or PA
• Valid state nursing license with prescriptive authority.
• Experience in pediatrics, critical care, or behavioral health is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in medication administration techniques and knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 – $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
