Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both inpatient and emergency room settings, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center and contribute to various medical specialties, including infectious disease care and pediatric intensive care.
Education
Graduate from an ARC-PA accredited physician assistant program by start date.
License, Certification, Registration
Physician Assistant License (California) required at hire
Physician Assistant National Certificate required at hire
Basic Life Support
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Additional Requirements:
Fluoroscopy Permit required, or must be obtained within 18 months from the date of hire in Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Radiation Oncology only.
May be required to have experience and competency in performing specific tasks required by department.
Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Duties
- Conduct physical examinations and assessments
- Provide care for patients in inpatient and ER settings
- Utilize telehealth platforms for patient consultations
- Adhere to medical standards and protocols for patient treatment
- Assist in data management and patient documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
- Certification as a Physician Assistant
- Experience working in inpatient and emergency room environments
- Proficiency in conducting physical examinations and providing acute care
- Familiarity with telehealth practices
- Knowledge of infectious disease management
- Strong data management skills
- Previous experience in a Level II Trauma Center or PICU is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $218,000.00 per year
