Full Job Description
Job Title: Physician Assistant – General SurgeryLocation: Antioch, CAJob Type: Onsite
Job Summary:Under the direction of a supervising physician, the Physician Assistant provides high-quality, efficient, team-based patient-focused care. Responsibilities may include managing patients in various settings, assisting in the OR, and facilitating on-call duties.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and compile patient medical data.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, and wound care.
- Develop and implement patient management plans and document progress.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and compliance with therapeutic regimens.
- Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Assist in surgical procedures as applicable, including First Assisting.
- Perform post-operative evaluations and assist with patient recovery.
Requirements:
- OR experience.
- PA-C licensure.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with various services/MDs in the OR setting.
Work Hours:Evening or weekend hours may be required.

- This is a new position with direct reports.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $152,981.00 – $200,073.00 per year
