Full Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Certified Physician’s Assistant to join our Otolaryngology department. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.
Responsibilities
Proven work experience as a Physician Assistant:
- Assess patients’ health and their demands and aim to fulfill them as well as possible
- Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise
- Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions
- Monitor patients’ progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events
- Provide primary and acute healthcare services within the Facial Plastic and ENT specialty
- Provide excellent patient care including maintaining patient medical history, physical examination, developing care plans, including diagnostic testing, medications, and follow up care
- Prepare prescription orders, administer medications and injections, and provide post operative care under the guidance of the physicians –
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and recommendations
- Triage patient phone calls, discuss test results/surgery on behalf of physicians
- Serve as a clinical expert, participate in and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Skills:
- Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations State licensure and board certification is required.
- 1+ year of ENT experience
- Experience with e-clinical works is preferred but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
