Job Title: Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA)
Location: San Francisco, CA
Term: 11/18/2024 – 26 weeks
Schedule: 4×10, shifts are 10 hours with a 30-minute lunch.
Pay Rate: $95-100/hr
Job Summary:
A hospital in San Francisco, California is looking for internal medicine nurse practitioners or physician assistants to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Providers can expect very complex patient population, seeing a lot of very sick patients. Facility is a teaching and research hospital with many resources for nurse practitioners.

Requirements of an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA):
- Active CA Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
- Board Certification: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
- BLS Certification
- DEA
- EPIC experience
- 3 years of experience in internal medicine or general medicine. Willing to consider those with experience in family medicine. Must have strong experience working with medically complex populations. Strongly prefer candidates with prior ER or ICU experience
Responsibilities of an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA):
- Provide primary care services
- Conduct patient visits in the clinic setting
- Provide admin, telehealth, and in-basket coverage
- Collaborate with support staff
- Document patient encounters accurately
