Job SummaryMy Doctor Medical Group is a concierge, physician-owned medical practice in San Francisco dedicated to serving the community by providing easy access to high-quality, responsive medical care in a pleasant, personalized, and professional setting. Our specialties center around primary medical care for adults, with specific expertise in geriatrics, home care, travel medicine, executive health, integrative medicine, aging optimization, and mental health (addiction medicine). Our staff enjoy a pleasant and collegial team-based work environment where each team member is a priority, and we value continuous learning and improvement.
We are seeking a 2 day per week Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with the flexibility tp add more days if needed. Must have the ability to be on-call during after hours and weekend periods on occasion.
Duties:
–Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
–Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
–Prescribe and dispense medications.
–Provide primary care services, including diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses.
–Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
–Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Promote preventative health care and positive health behaviors.
–Practice under an established collaborative agreement with practice physicians and according to standard procedures as required by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
–Ensure accurate documentation of patient encounters, medical records, and data collection.
–Participate in discharge planning and provide follow-up care as needed.
–Ensure absolute confidentiality of patients’ records and information.
Qualifications:
–Excellent customer and patient service.
–Teamwork and professional collaboration with other administrative and clinical staff.
–Outstanding bedside manner.
–A caring and compassionate personality is a must.
–A high degree of detail-orientation, punctuality, time management, follow-through, and self-motivation.
–Ability to work effectively with a diverse clientele.
–Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
–Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
–Conflict resolution skills, ability to listen and empathy.
–Able to always protect the confidentiality of patients and practice information while implementing privacy practices.
Education:
–Graduate degree from an accredited nursing school such as a Master of Science in Nursing.
–Must have a valid California Nurse Practitioner License.
–Must have no actions on license.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $90.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 per week
