**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic, hospital-based interventional radiology practice to assist with procedures and patient care. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician.
**Responsibilities:**
– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
– Develop and implement treatment plans
– Perform various medical procedures under physician supervision
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests
– Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention
– Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
– Daily rounding on inpatients and performance of inpatient consults.
– Performance of procedures on a daily basis: paracentesis, thoracentesis, removal of tunneled venous lines (with potential future opportunity to perform additional procedures in the IR department)
– Possible future need to see outpatient consults and returning patients in IR clinic
– Communication with patients and families about IR related medical care
– Work closely with the IR physicians to facilitate medical decision-making and patient care

Pay: $135,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
