Overview:SCC Plano is a multidisciplinary clinic offering comprehensive care, with a focus on primary care and specialized services like urgent care and pain management. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our primary care team, providing routine check-ups, vaccinations, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
Job Description:
- Ensure compliance with licensing, certification, and accrediting boards.
- Perform physicals, mental status, and medical history examinations; record findings subsequently reviewed and countersigned by supervising physician.
- Synthesizes data and utilizes evidence to develop, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies/ results.
Requirements:
- Nurse Practitioners licensure
- Current DEA licensure
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS
- M.D. or D.O. trained
- Experience in UC, ER, FP, IM preferred
- Current Registration with the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners, or the ability to becomeregistered before the start date (Only applicable to physician assistants).
- Authorized to work in the USA
- Excellent communication skills. Excellent computer skills and must be able to efficiently enter data into an Electronic Medical Records system.
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment, dependability, and integrity
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Experience:
- Two to three years of relevant clinical family practice/ internal medicine experience required.
