Full Job Description

A large, reputable neurological group with multiple locations in the Philadelphia area is looking for an experienced PA or NP. The group has a team of highly skilled physicians and specialists known for delivering cutting-edge treatment and compassionate patient care. They are currently seeking motivated and experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) or Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside some of the most respected neurologists in the field.

PAs or NPs with experience must have experience in neurology to be considered. Candidates have the option of either a surgical role or a fully outpatient setting. With multiple openings available across the state, you can choose the location that best suits your lifestyle and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and neurological examinations.
  • Collaborate with neurologists to develop and implement treatment plans for neurological conditions.
  • Assist in surgical procedures (for those interested in a surgical role).
  • Manage and follow up with outpatient neurological patients, including medication management and patient education.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies related to neurological conditions.
  • Provide patient and family education on disease processes, treatment options, and ongoing care needs.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall care planning process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Some experience in neurology or neurosurgery required.
  • Experience in a surgical setting is a plus (for those interested in a surgical role).
  • Strong clinical skills in neurological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
