Premier advanced wound care medical group in California has a need for self-motivated and independent mobile NPs / PAs to join our fast-growing home health care team in Los Angeles Metro Area. LOCATION: Los Angeles Metro area
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed and certified
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid and unrestricted driver license
- Work well with others
- Organizational skills and multi-task
- Technical aptitude, coachable, and willingness to help others
- Wound care experience or wound care certificate preferred
- Must have full range of mobility and be able to reposition patients
- Desire for continued professional and personal growth
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel and treat our homebound patients
- Conduct initial evaluation and all follow-up visits
- Ability to perform complete physical exams
- Perform wound care procedures, including debridement
- Prescribe medications and dressings as needed
- Administer biologic application when necessary
- Initiate referral for additional services as needed
- Document full scope of care from start of care to discharge
- Provide patient support and education
- Participate in continued training activities
- Assist with special projects
