Full Job Description
We are looking for a reliable physician assistant (PA) to care for injured personal injury patients. Our patient population consists of patients that have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, slip-and-falls, and occasionally as a result of work accidents. You will work under the supervision of a neurologist. PAs must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing neurologic basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately
- Perform a patient’s physical exam
- Order appropriate diagnostic testing
- Review results of diagnostic testing
- Design patient treatment plans
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.
Skills
- Proven experience as a physician assistant or similar role
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with performing basic neurologic history and physical examination
- Understanding of personal injury patients
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $109,816.00 – $140,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
