Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care – Spanish

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is proficient in Spanish or medical Spanish to join our family practice medical group.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic adult/pediatric illnesses, interpreting test results as necessary
• Collaborate with the patient and the patient’s family as needed to create and execute treatment plans and ensure proper coordination of care to optimize patient’s health progress
• Refer to specialists when appropriate
• Perform routine developmental screenings, health maintenance care, school physical examinations and childhood immunizations consistent with CHDP guidelines
• Provide appropriate education, feedback and assessment of care to ensure the safety of patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted California Physician’s Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
• At least one year of experience working as a Physician’s Assistant
• BLS, CA DEA certification prior to start date
• Proficiency in EMRs
• Proficient in Spanish or medical Spanish

You’re great for this role if you have:

• 2+ years of experience working as a Physician’s Assistant
• Internal Medicine, Primary Care and/or OBGYN experience

• This position is located in Southern California in the cities of the Los Angeles, including Alhambra, Pasadena, Arcadia, City of Industry, Monterey Park, West Covina, Riverside, El Monte, Montebello, Boyle Heights, East LA and more!
• The target pay range for this role is $60.00 – $70.00 per hour. This salary range represents our national target range for this role.
